Anne Hathaway Promotes "Rachel Getting Married" Wed, 3-Sep-2008
She arrived in Italy for the big film festival on Tuesday, and earlier today (September 3) Anne Hathaway was spotted taking a water taxi to the Westin Excelsior hotel for the 2008 Venice Film Festival.
The 25-year-old "Princess Diaries" actress was then helped ashore as she readies for the premiere of her new movie, "Rachel Getting Married".
In the film, which is competing at the festival for the festival's prestigious Golden Lion Award, Anne plays "a young woman who has been in and out from rehab for the past 10 years returns home for the weekend for her sister's wedding."
Rosemarie DeWitt and Mather Zickel are among Anne's co-stars in the Jonathan Demme directed drama, which has a release date of April 2, 2009. |
