Brad Pitt Talks Religion, Family Thu, 23-Jul-2009 “No, no, no!” was the answer received from Brad Pitt, a raised Southern Baptist, when questioned about a higher power or if he was spiritual.
He says, “I’m probably 20 percent atheist and 80 percent agnostic. I don’t think anyone really knows. You’ll either find out or not when you get there, until then there’s no point thinking about it.”
Previously, Pitt had told Parade in 2007, “Religion works. I know there’s comfort there, a crash pad. It’s something to explain the world and tell you there is something bigger than you, and it is going to be all right in the end.”
Pitt also spilled that he doesn’t mind aging at all, prefers motorbikes over cars, and while money can make things easier, it can also be a burden. He even added that he and Angelina Jolie sleep on a “3 meter wide bed” so that all six of their children can fit.
“But even that isn't big enough," he admits. "They all come crawling in the morning. It's just about surviving! We all have sleep deprivation." |
