Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake Mourn Michael Fri, 26-Jun-2009 There’s no doubt the death of Michael Jackson is affecting people all over the world, and two of his biggest admirers, Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake, spoke out about the shocking news.
Ms Spears - who performed with Jackson at a 2001 party celebrating the 30th anniversary of his career - was planning on catching one of the King of Pop's comeback concerts next month in London.
She says, "I was so excited to see his show in London. We were going to be on tour in Europe at the same time. He has been an inspiration throughout my entire life and I'm devastated he's gone!"
Meanwhile, Timberlake took to his Web site saying, "I can't find the words right now to express how deeply saddened I am by Michael’s passing. We have lost a genius and a true ambassador of not only Pop music but of all music." |
