With so much going on in New York City this weekend, it’s hard to keep track of who’s going where. And prior to her appearance at the Fashion Rocks event last night, Charlize Theron (and her director beau Stuart Townsend) enjoyed a little haute couture.
The “Battle in Seattle” babe headed over to the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week festivities, sitting front row at the Rag & Bone Spring 2009 fashion show, held at Pier 94.
And Miss Theron looked a bit hippie chic in a white v-neck shirt underneath a black and grey vest teamed with a pair of black stretch pants and strappy black sandals.
As for her relationship with Townsend, Charlize swears he’s made her a better person. She told press, “He got through to me on a level that no one else did. Stuart made me softer. He was one of the few guys who wasn’t afraid of me. What he saw was not toughness but vulnerability.”
And she says that they’re as good as married, even though they haven’t made it official. “I want to know that I wake up every morning with him because I want to, not because a piece of paper says so.”
