Drew Barrymore: Tongue Ring Troubles Tue, 10-Feb-2009
Bundled up for the chilly weather and once again wearing her now-favorite newsboy cabbie hat, Drew Barrymore was spotted arriving at Los Angeles International Airport on Tuesday (February 10).
The former "ET" star has been a bit busier than usual as of late, as she continues to promote her box office topping movie "He's Just Not That Into You".
Aside from her career endeavors, Miss Barrymore recently told Ellen Degeneres that she's blaming her new tongue piercing for her inability to land a man following her split from Justin Long.
Talking about the piercing, which she got just after the breakup, Drew tells, “I have had it for nine months, I got it and I have been single ever since. I don’t know what the deal is with that."
Going into further detail about her tongue decoration, Barrymore adds, “After it was done I was like, ‘Oh my God why wouldn’t people do this? It doesn’t hurt at all,’ and the guy said, ‘What I didn’t tell you is that for the next two weeks it is going to be a little uncomfortable.’ Two hours later I couldn’t eat or drink for two weeks, it was a great diet in a weird way, a sick and sadistic diet and after that it was fine.” |
