Mexico Fashion Week: Cherry Project Mon, 3-Nov-2008
When we think color we think of Cherry Project's Spring 2009 collection. There was huge variety all piled onto one model. Free spirit was the key for these looks. The show had a sense of futuristic that no one could miss with the huge platforms the model strutted all the way down the runway!
The collection was full jersey and neon that could turn heads easily with clothes mixing and matching as they came down the runway. The color contrasts together were eye popping and marvelous. Salmon, white and powder blue all graced the stage on one outfit. Neon green and black combinations, powder blue and red, and lavender combined with blue and yellow, all looking perfect in an indescribable way.
The pieces were on the sexy side. Short dresses dominated the runway with exquisite tailoring. One particular grey dress was loved by everyone that saw the show with a one shoulder strap and a short hemline and a bonded appearance that looked as if the dress was made with the model in it the whole time. The vibe was an 80's cutting edge look, with the big triangle "C" logo on shoes, outfits, and our favorite-hot pink earrings.
The collection brought something new that we haven't been seeing much, and in the fashion world, you can't complain about that. |
