Gwyneth Paltrow Defends Marriage... Again Tue, 3-Feb-2009
While there’s been public speculation on their marriage for quite some time, Gwyneth Paltrow says her union with husband, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, is solid.
The “Sliding Doors” actress recently defended her marriage, telling press that just because they don’t make public appearances together, it doesn’t mean something’s wrong.
"It doesn't behoove us to be a public couple. He certainly doesn't want to be that. We've never ever walked down a red carpet together, we never will. If people think that that means we're not together, then – ha ha ha! – so be it."
In fact, Paltrow and Martin’s marriage passed a pretty major test when they were able to keep it together after Gwyn’s father died back in 2002. "I'm amazed he stuck with me [at the time her dad died], because I was a wreck. I can't believe that he did." |
