Jennifer Aniston Talks John Mayer Wed, 12-Nov-2008
She’s been extremely patient when it comes to the media’s interest in her relationship with John Mayer, and in a recent interview Jennifer Aniston spoke up about where things are at.
Exhibiting a bit of frustration, the former “Friends” star began, “People need to mind their own business,” adding, “Did you ever think Claudia Schiffer and David Copperfield made sense? Did Susan Anton and Dudley Moore make sense? Wait! I got more!"
Jen also revealed that she wasn’t expecting to fall in love with the “Waiting on the World to Change” singer. "You know, it isn't designed. Love just shows up and you go, 'Oh, wow, this is going to be a hayride and a half.'"
As for Mayer’s comments to the paparazzi earlier this year (he told reporters ‘I don’t want to waste somebody’s time if something’s not right’) regarding their breakup, Miss Aniston was totally understanding. "He had to put that out there that he broke up with me. And especially because it's me. It's not just some girl he’s dating. I get it. We're human. But I feel seriously protective of him and us."
Regarding her failed marriage to Brad Pitt, Jen commented, "The marriage didn't work out. Pretty soon after we separated, we got on the phone and we had a long, long conversation with each other and said a lot of things, and ever since we've been unbelievably warm and respectful of each other." |
