Jennifer Connelly Drops By David Letterman Tue, 9-Dec-2008 Always one to turn heads wherever she goes, Jennifer Connelly caused a fan frenzy as she visited CBS Studios for a taping of "The Late Show with David Letterman" on Monday night (December 8).
The Oscar-winning actress is currently on the talk show circuit as she promotes her new movie, "The Day The Earth Stood Still," which hits theaters this Friday (December 12).
Talking about the film, Jennifer, who plays an astrobiologist in the classic remake, told press, "I read the script and I thought it was great. I thought it was a great story."
"I love it. I think it's just fantastic. I think it was really cutting edge for its time. I think it was interesting. It was a very self-reflective film. It had a lot to say about that time and that special climate," Connelly said. "Great performances. Patricia Neil was fantastic. But it was such a great story. I thought there was room to retell it now," Miss Connelly adds. |
