Marc Anthony and Jennifer Lopez: Dolphins Duties Tue, 21-Jul-2009
Tending to press duties, Marc Anthony and Jennifer Lopez attended the NFL, ESPN/ESPN Deportes and the Miami Dolphins press conference at the Time Warner Center in New York City on Tuesday (July 21).
The appearance comes shortly after it was announced that Marc has become a partial owner of the NFL team, telling People magazine, "I'm a huge sports fan. These opportunities don't come around too often. It's quite an honor and a privilege to be able to sit here today saying that I'm a part-owner of an NFL team."
With financial details remaining private, the 40-year-old "El Cantante" actor joked, "It would have probably been cheaper just to buy season tickets."
As for working with majority owner Stephen Ross, Anthony said, "We spoke for quite a while about his vision for the team and, like I said, it was just intoxicating. It was just a win-win for everybody involved."
