Katherine Heigl: Sticking with “Grey's Anatomy” Fri, 19-Jun-2009
Katherine Heigl has been busy making movies lately, but she may not be leaving "Grey's Anatomy" after all, according to a source from Us magazine.
"Katie will be on Grey's next season," said the insider, while Heigl's rep said, "I am unable to comment."
Back in February, her costar James Pickens Jr., told Us that Heigl and T.R. Knight would be leaving the ABC drama and not coming back. But Heigl may have negotiated her own way back on the contract.
Both characters fates left you nail biting during the final seconds of the show. Knight's character, George O'Malley, was hit by a bus, while Heigl, Izzie Stevens, went under a huge brain surgery to fight off her cancer. At the end of the show, both were unconscious and everyone was left waiting to see what would happen. |
