Kiefer Sutherland Did Nothing Wrong, Says Lawyer Mon, 11-May-2009
Trouble seems to follow him everywhere he goes, and last week’s apparent head-butting incident is no exception for Kiefer Sutherland.
The “24” actor’s lawyer, however, recently released a statement in hopes of getting his client off the hook. He said, "We are troubled by the untruthful and self-serving information circulating regarding Kiefer Sutherland and events of last Monday evening."
The attorney continued, “We are confident, however, that the investigation being conducted by the Manhattan District Attorney's Office and the NYPD will confirm that Kiefer Sutherland was neither the instigator nor a wrongdoer in this incident."
As for the head-butting victim, fashion designer Jack McCollough’s rep continues his argument, saying Jack "was the victim of a vicious, violent, unprovoked assault.”
Sutherland will be arraigned June 22 at Manhattan Criminal Court. |
