LeAnn Rimes Announces Divorce Wed, 2-Sep-2009
It’s no secret that they’ve been having some serious marital problems, stemming from an extramarital affair and now LeAnn Rimes has announced that she and husband Dean Sheremet are getting a divorce.
Taking to her official Web site, the “How Do I Live” singer wrote, "After much thoughtful mutual consideration, Deane [her husband's given name] and I have agreed to move forward with dissolving our marriage."
Rimes (who has been married to Sheremet for seven years) continued, "This decision was amicable and we remain committed and caring friends with great admiration for one another. Thank you so much for all of your continued love and support – it is deeply appreciated."
Earlier this year, it was discovered that LeAnn and actor Eddie Cibrian were romantically involved after having met on an acting gig. Eddie and his wife have already filed for divorce. |
