Madonna Talks Relationships with Letterman Thu, 1-Oct-2009 Madonna will not be a bride anytime soon. The singer told David Letterman when asked if she’d ever marry again, “I think I’d rather get run over by a train.”
Madonna spilled all on his show about her changing personality and marital status.
"Now I'm married, you're not married. Go figure," the host joked, while his guest called her eight years married to director Guy Ritchie "the Bush years."
"It was a good time to be out of America," she said.
The 51 year-old said that there were certain aspects of marriage that were missing such as caring for the kids. However although marriage may not be taking place, she could fall in love again and spend her life with someone.
"I don’t know, I've lost perspective," she said. "Do you know?"
"I'm happily married now and will be till the day I die," Letterman deadpanned in response.
Letterman also joked about the rumored athletes the “Material Girl” has dated. Dennis Rodman and recently her link to Alex Rodriguez.
"Have you ever ridden hockey players before?" he asked.
"No, that’s the one sport I haven't investigated," she joked. |
