Maria Sharapova: Top Form in Hong Kong Sun, 10-Jan-2010
Doing her best to move back to the top of women's tennis following nagging shoulder injuries, Maria Sharapova beat up on Danish star Caroline Wozniacki at the Hong Kong Tennis Classic on Sunday (January 10).
Winning 7-5 and 6-3 in a 95-minute match, the Russian beauty used her powerful serve and groundstrokes to help her country's team win at the Hong Kong exhibition match.
Talking to press afterwards, Maria said, "It's a great field... a good test for the Australian Open."
"Whether I have a good feeling or not, you never know the future," she added. |
