Mark Wahlberg Released After Hospitalization Sun, 16-Aug-2009
Suffering a bit of a setback, Mark Wahlberg was reportedly hospitalized after suffering smoke inhalation on the set of his new film "The Fighter" on Friday afternoon.
A source tells, Mark was working on a scene [Thursday night] where a smoke machine was being used for atmosphere and apparently he breathed in too much smoke."
The insider adds, When he woke up Friday morning he was gasping for breath so he was taken to Massachusetts General Hospital where he was put on a breathing device that helped clear his lungs.
Fortunately enough, the tough actor was released the very same day - getting back to work on the action flick, which co-stars Christian Bale. |
