Mel Gibson and Wife: Headed for Divorce Mon, 13-Apr-2009
They’ve been married for 28 years, but earlier today it was announced that Mel Gibson and his wife Robyn Moore have filed for divorce.
Moore reportedly filed the paperwork on April 9th and cited “irreconcilable differences,” and it looks like they’ll split Gibson’s estimated $900 million fortune 50/50 since there is no prenuptial agreement.
Mel and Robyn released a statement, saying, "Throughout our marriage and separation we have always strived to maintain the privacy and integrity of our family and will continue to do so."
An inside source told press, "Mel is on family vacation with his entire family and their friends. His sons are there with their girlfriends, his pregnant daughter is there - the whole family is there." |
