Naomi Watts Teams Up with Sir Anthony Hopkins Thu, 13-Aug-2009
Hard at work on their new project, Naomi Watts and Sir Anthony Hopkins filmed scenes outside a shop in Mayfair for Woody Allen’s new untitled romance film on Thursday (August 13).
The co-stars chatted it up in between takes, joining up with other big actors such as Josh Brolin and Antonio Banderas.
Meanwhile, Miss Watts will be starring in the remake of Alred Hitchcock’s suspense classic, ‘The Birds’ from 1963. Tippi Hendren played the original role, and is not happy about a remake and even finds it “insulting.”
"To take a work of art like that and try to copy it is like trying to imitate the Mona Lisa," the Daily Express quoted Hedren as saying. "I think Hitch would call them tiny tots trying to make movies and ask why they don't have an original thought in their heads," she added. |
