Nicole Richie Dispels Anorexic Past Wed, 9-Sep-2009
It’s no secret that Nicole Richie has been scrutinized in the past for being too skinny. But she insists that she’s never suffered from an eating disorder.
The “Simple Life” hottie told press, “In the beginning, I was known for standing next to Paris Hilton, who is the skinniest person in the world — anybody would look a little thick next to her!”
Richie continued, “Then, after I lost weight, I was criticized for being too skinny. You can’t win. I was never anorexic, though. I spoke to my dad about my weight. He was concerned when he read what was being said about my health, but I kept assuring him that I always felt fine.”
In related news, Nicole has been mourning over the death of her friend/former fiancé Adam ‘DJ AM’ Goldstein as of late. A pal told press, “She’s has a lot of guilt. She knew that Adam had suffered anxiety since the plane crash, but she didn’t know how to help. Nicole and Adam grew apart. But she still loved him. Everyone is trying to help her through it, but she just can’t stop crying. She’s horrified. She had some idea he was depressed, but she had no idea he had started doing crack again.” |
