Rachel Hunter Devastated as Fiance Cancels Wedding Wed, 24-Jun-2009
Making for quite the difficult situation, Rachel Hunter will no longer be tying the knot with her hockey star fiance Jarret Stoll.
With Stoll canceling their wedding just seven weeks before the expected big day, the hockey player called off the couple's engagement by "e-mailing guests informing them the August 14 nuptials were off," according to breaking reports.
Of the decision, which Miss Hunter was given no previous notice, a friend told The Sun: "She is absolutely devastated. Everything was in place for their wedding - she had the venue, the designer dress, the guest list."
The Hunter pal adds, "She has absolutely no idea why Jarret has done this. It sounds like it could be a classic case of cold feet. He is a fair bit younger than her."
