Salma Hayek and Valentina Hit the "30 Rock" Set Fri, 10-Oct-2008
Taking her daughter along with her to work today (October 10), Salma Hayek got started with filming duties for her recurring guest role on the Brooklyn Heights set of "30 Rock".
In the scene, shot in Cadman Plaza Park, Baldwin's character pays a visit to Hayek's character during a family picnic. In between takes, Salma made sure to spend time playing with little Valentina - who looked to have gotten a case of the giggles.
Talking about her role on the show, Salma told press, "I have been a fan of [30 Rock exec producer] Tina [Fey]’s talent, both as an actress and a writer, since working with her years ago on SNL. I am so excited to be part of such an intelligent, funny show, as well as working with the brilliant Alec Baldwin and the rest of the cast of 30 Rock."
Returning the compliment, Fey said that Hayek is "smart, funny, and gorgeous," adding that "she will be a great strong presence opposite Jack Donaghy." |
