Uma Thurman: Planning a Family Expansion? Tue, 19-Aug-2008
Now that Uma Thurmans engaged to be married to Swiss multimillionaire Arpad "Arki" Busson, she says that she's definitely open to the idea of having more children. The actress, 38, already has two children with her ex-husband Ethan Hawke (Maya, 10 and Levon, 6).
When interviewed for the September issue of InStyle, Thurman says that having children is the greatest gift Ive ever been given.
As for extending her family in the near future, she adds: "I can safely say I don't know. If it's meant to happen, it will. I love and adore being a mother. I understand that raising children is universally difficult and that people read an article hoping for something worthwhile in it. The truth is, I am not on some inside track. I have no incredible revelations to share."
Thurman, who announced her engagement in June, says that she truly enjoys married life. Although no date has been set for her wedding to Busson, she says: I crave structure. I've never had good habits or a formula for how to shape a day, a month, a life, I appreciate anything that makes me focus."
So what does someone like Uma Thurman look for in a man? "Confidence, intelligence and goodness. There's nothing sexier than that combination" she says. |
