A new ad posted in an apartment house by a young boy announced that he would wash a car for 50 cents. One man promptly took advantage of his offer and, knowing that he was the boy's first customer, gave him an extra quarter for a job well done.

Upon passing the boy's sign not ten minutes later, the man was amused to see that it now read: "Car Wash .75 cents---experienced."
